In the villages of Myanmar, few people have heard the Gospel. They embrace animism, unaware that God longs for a relationship with them. The men and women who attend Kalay Theological College (KTC) know the story of Jesus. They seek greater understanding of His teachings.

KTC students are accustomed to meager incomes. They struggle to afford the cost of tuition. Some borrow money from family members for travel expenses. They find hope in their calling—to share their faith. When they graduate from the college, they have the skills they need to teach the Bible. Some students return to their regions to build schools, others to counsel individuals. Many become pastors.

Kam Suan

Kam Suan was brought up by his uncle’s family. Kam Suan knew he needed Bible training but did not know how it would be possible. He worked and saved some money for a year or so, but soon realized that he could never save enough for multiple years of study.
