CARLITOS

Carlitos was born in central Mozambique. He came to know Christ as a teenager, through a persistent friend. Just before university, he became a caretaker for Project Life, our program for HIV/AIDS widows. He had only planned to serve with us through university. But when graduation day came, he knew God was calling him to stay. In 2011, he helped us open the Tessa Grace Nutrition Center for malnourished babies. Today, he serves as our director of both Project Life and Tessa Grace Nutrition. But he still considers himself a caretaker. In 2020, he graduated with a master’s degree in public health.

Carlitos’s vision is to reach more babies and families with health and the love of Christ. He and his wife have three children: Sara, Solom, and Alysandra.
