Burning Splendor

This short book is a theology of poverty, our way of understanding what the Scriptures say about our responsibility to the widow, the orphan, the refugee, and all who are in need. It looks at the revelation of God's heart for the poor through the eyes of Moses, the Prophets, and Christ. It attempts to answer the questions, what if we don't give? And what if we do? This brief study is for anyone interested in the subject the Christian view on wealth and poverty.

We have built houses for widows, drilled water wells, provided nutrition and medicine, erected churches, trained pastors, cared for and educated children, and raised the quality of life in their communities.
