The Cerro Grande community lies on the outskirts of Chihuahua City. Most parents in Cerro Grande and the surrounding area do not have high school diplomas. Women sell knitted goods in the market or work in maquiladoras (foreign-owned factories). Men make bricks or find work in construction. With small incomes, families have no access to running water. Children rarely bathe. At dinner, children eat cheap, packaged snacks. Parents try to send their children to school. But year-to-year, the public school remains at capacity.

Our Vida Victoriosa program empowers these families to live victoriously. Throughout the year, we provide children with one-on-one tutoring, daily meals, and vitamin supplements through our Miracle milk program. Once a month, students attend our Bible study. We invite their parents to participate. Our Bible studies end with a lesson on hygiene and healthy cooking.

Because of our Vida Victoriosa program sponsors, families receive the knowledge they need to strive for better futures. Through Christ’s victory, they find their own.
